Grains

The bases of human and animal nutrition, the main grains are wheat (common and durum), barley, corn, sorghum, oats, triticale and rye.

Legumes

These include soy, peas, broad beans, fava beans and lupins.

Oil meals

Products that are left over after extracting the oil from the seeds; these are highly proteinaceous meals. The main ones are soybean meal, rapeseed meal and sunflower seed meal.
